Jasmine Russell
Body Psychotherapist

Hi, I’m Jasmine. I’m the founder of Human Embraced and a trainee Body Psychotherapist.

Have you ever understood something intellectually, but still felt stuck? Found yourself repeating patterns or reacting in ways you don’t fully understand?

I work with people experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression, emotional overwhelm, or a general sense that something is missing - helping them reconnect with themselves and create change.

Body psychotherapy explores the relationship between your mind, body, emotions, and lived experiences. Together, we slow down and listen to what’s happening beneath the surface - your sensations, feelings, and patterns - with curiosity, compassion, and care.

Many of the experiences that shape us happen before we have the words to understand them. Through embodied awareness, we can develop new ways of relating to ourselves, our emotions, and our lives.

With a background in psychology, somatic psychotherapy training, and over a decade of experience in human services, I support people to create meaningful change that is not only understood, but truly felt and integrated.

You might be here because:

  • You’ve spent lots of time trying to understand yourself but still feel stuck repeating patterns

  • You feel stressed, anxious tense and unable to relax. Your mind doesn’t switch off.

  • You don’t feel a sense of purpose, meaning or passion for life

  • You feel depleted, disconnected, or like you’re running on empty.

  • You find yourself repeating familiar relationship patterns or attracting similar dynamics.

  • You struggle to connect with your emotions, your body, or what you truly need.

  • You feel like you’re trying hard to create change, but something keeps getting in the way.

If any of this sounds familiar, body psychotherapy can offer a different pathway to understanding yourself and creating change.

Human Embraced is a neurodivergent and queer loving body psychotherapy service committed to embracing all the complexities of being human.
